What Would a Vegan Do?

A fine WordPress.com site

I love going to different churches. We went to a new one yesterday. They lit the first Advent candle: purple, for Hope. ’ May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:12-13)

I hope for peace. I love what my Egyptian Muslim son-in-law says, “As you know God is great and He is giving to his people millions of chances to be better, it doesn’t matter if they believe the bible or the Quran. In the Quran, it says, ‘you believe what you believe, I will believe what you believe, we have one God so believe whatever you want.”

Whatever our belief, my candle of hope is to open my heart to love. What a wonderful planet it would be if we could treat every human being as if they were our very own BFF.

My newest passion is going vegan...but it could all change tomorrow.
